                                      Parents/ Guardians/and Students:

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Geometry Class. I am excited and am looking forward to meeting all of you.

Come to the edge

It's too tall

Come to the edge

I'll fall

Come to the edge

And they came

And you pushed them and they flew

About Me

My name is Ms. Khin Dar and I was born and raised in Rangoon, Burma. I am a graduate of the Institute of Medicine I, a medical college; and I earned my Doctorate Degree in Medicine and Surgery. I worked as a medical doctor generalizing 'Family Practice' back in my country.

I then pursued my second degree here in the States at Azusa Pacific University, CA and received my Master's Degree in Special Education. For my previous teaching experiences, I taught at 'ITIM', an international hotel and tourism vocational training school in Bangkok, Thailand; worked with students with special needs at MERCI, a private special education program in Monterey Park, CA where I became a recipient of an 'Above and Beyond' award working with students with disabilities. Currently, I am working at Montebello High School, MUSD as an Education Specialist and this is my twelfth year teaching under the district.

Teaching is my passion and my philosophy is that "All children can and will learn." I have very high expectations for all students. No matter what their skill levels are; who they are or how they are, I strongly believe that I will be able to reach through to each and every student providing researched-based strategies and best practices to maximize their learning, thus resulting in success to their best potentials.
